salmon_capers_140Smoked Salmon Caper - A great smoked salmon recipe for a dinner party, the smoked salmon and capers, simple seafood recipe mix can be made ahead of serving thus freeing up your time so that you can enjoy the party and guests.

Ingredients to make Smoked Salmon Caper

4oz/125g smoked salmon
Sliced white or brown bread
1oz/25g butter
1-2 teasp capers
cayenne pepper
freshly ground black pepper
chopped parsley

Directions to make Smoked Salmon Caper

Step 1:Finely chop the smoked salmon and capers and mix together
Step 2:Melt the butter in a saucepan, add the smoked salmon and capers, season with a little black pepper and cayenne (to taste). Mix well and leave to get cold.
Step 3:Cut the crusts of the bread and then cut each slice into either 4 triangles or rectangles. Either brush with melted butter or olive oil and spread out on a baking tray.
Step 4:Bake in a hot oven until golden brown and crisp. Take out and leave to cool.
Step 5:When ready to serve pile a little heap of the smoked salmon recipe on top of each croute and sprinkle with some chopped parsley.
