2 tb Butter
1/4 c Chopped onion
1 ts Curry powder
8 oz Halibut (cooked and flaked)
1 cn Cream of Chicken soup
1/2 c Plain yogurt
1/2 c Milk
1/2 ts Lemon juice

Directions to make Curry Halibut Stroganoff

Step 1:Saute chopped onion and curry powder in butter. Stir in can of chicken soup, yogurt, milk, lemon juice and halibut.
Step 2:Mix well, stirring occaisionally until heated through. Serve over rice or pasta noodles.

Ingredients to make BBQ Halibut and Sauce

1/2 c Cucumber, Shredded
1/2 c Sour Cream
1/4 c Miracle Whip
1 tb Chives, Snipped
2 ts Lemon Juice
1/4 ts Salt
1 ds Pepper
2 lb Halibut, Fresh
1/4 c Butter
1 ts Salt
1/8 ts Pepper
1 Paprika

Directions to make BBQ Halibut and Sauce

Step 1: Blend shredded cucumber with sour cream, Miracle Whip, chives, lemon juice, 1/4 t salt and dash of pepper. Mix well and chill until serving time.
Step 2: Place the halibut in a well greased wire grill basket. In a sauce pan melt the butter. Stir in the 1 t salt and 1/8 t pepper. Grill the halibut over medium-hot coals for 5-8 minutes depending on thickness of steaks. Brush with butter mixture occasionally.
Step 3: Turn and baste with the remaining butter mixture. Grill the halibut until it flakes easily with a fork, 5-8 minutes more.
Step 4: Sprinkle this halibut recipe with paprika and serve with chilled cucumber sauce.

Ingredients to make Fiery Lemon Coriander Sauced Halibut

5 Green New Mexican chiles,
-roasted, peeled, stems and Seeds, removed, chopped 1ts Garlic, minced
1/4 c Lemon juice
4 tb Chopped fresh cilantro
1/2 ts Ground coriander seeds
1 1/2 lb Halibut
4 tb vegetable oil

Directions to make Fiery Lemon Coriander Sauced Halibut

Step 1:Mix the chiles, garlic, lemon juice, cilantro, and coriander and use to marinate the fish overnight in a glass or ceramic dish.
Step 2:Remove the fish and combine the marinade with the vegetable oil.
Step 3:Grill or broil the fish, basting with the marinade mixture.

Ingredients to make Asparagus – Halibut Stir-Fry

1 lb halibut, swordfish or tuna fillet, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 teaspoon finely chopped gingerroot
1 box (10 oz) frozen asparagus cuts, thawed, drained
1 package (8 oz) sliced fresh mushrooms (3 cups)
1 medium tomato, cut into thin wedges
2 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Additional reduced-sodium soy sauce, if desired

Directions to make Asparagus – Halibut Stir-Fry

Step 1:Spray 10-inch nonstick skillet with cooking spray; heat over medium-high heat. Add fish, onion, garlic, gingerroot and asparagus; cook and stir 2 to 3 minutes or until fish almost flakes with fork.
Step 2:Carefully stir in remaining ingredients. Cook until fish flakes easily with fork and mixture is thoroughly heated. Serve with additional soy sauce.
